Take Notice: Daley UK is a vocal treat

I do not know a whole lot about Daley but one thing is very obvious, this guy can sing.  I am not talking American Idol sing or pop songstress carry a note for a moment sing, I mean vocal explosions that ring with emotion and purpose. His voice has so many layers and textures, there is little need for background music.

He hails from Manchester, England and was discovered by BBC 100% HomeGrown team and MistaJam after uploading his track, “Rainy Day,” to BBC Introducing. He was invited to the BBC studios at Maida Vale to record several original tracks. Listen to the recording session here. He has since signed with Universal.

Daley spent the last few years making a name for himself in the underground music scene in the UK. His songwriting ability pairs with his sandy, tranquil yet powerful voice. His sense of style also places exclamations all over the package that is singer/song-writer Daley. Daley’s music boldly represents the broken heart long forgotten, the way love hurts and the power music has to become you.

He is a rare treasure to discover as Gorillaz frontman Damon Albarn must have realized. Albarn collaborated with Daley on the new Gorillaz single “Doncamatic“. The two wrote the single together, which features Daley’s vocals and is now recieving Gorilla size love from critics and fans.

Take Notice of a mystic and emotionally charged soul-bird that will be heavily gracing the airwaves in no time, serenading our souls and fostering the pain, gain and feel of love.
